Silly babies and keeping those resolutions

Lenny definitely has a talent for getting himself in sticky situations. This weekend he managed to get his foot stuck inside one of his play trucks...he was very distressed but you really cant help but laugh at him trying to walk with a truck attached to his foot...

Just a couple other fun pics of Lenny. Classic Lenny indeed. Face covered in ravioli sauce and rolling around on the floor. He is such a sweet boy!

I am quite determined to lose the Bela baby fat as quickly as possible. Jeremiah signed us up for the YMCA and I havent enjoyed going to the gym this much in a LOOONG time. Ive been going about 5 days a week. They have childcare so it also gives me some "me time" which is really nice and an added bonus. Lenny is also enjoying being around other kids and learning how to play and interact with other children so its good for him too. Im pretty sore right now but im looking forward to being my old self again! This is a resolution I intend to keep!

First (real) Haircut!

Leonard has had a few home cuts, but mommy really hacked up his hair last time so I took him to the pros! He did so well, I was shocked! I love his mohawk, its the cutest thing ever!

BEFORE

AFTER :)

Today was the first day all week I've left the house with the kids due to the RIDICULOUS cold weather. We've spent most of our days bundled up inside. Here is Bela being REALLY cheeky!
We got more frigid weather on the way! I really dont like cold weather with no snow...it seems so unnecessary!

Coloring Time!

Leonard got crayons and huge Handy Manny coloring sheets from Grandma and Grandpa so we sat down today to learn how to color. Our first attempt a few days ago at coloring didnt go so well as he just ate the tops off of most of his little crayons buddies. I thought the little crayon buddy markers would be a good idea...I got them a couple weeks ago and it ended like this...

Today was much more successful, I colored on it a lot but he did quite a bit himself!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Its a new year and I am determined to be a better blogger because we now have most of our family living far away. My family relocated to Kansas City, MO and now its just us here in Jacksonville.

We have had an incredible year. Beginning with our surprise pregnancy and ending on a great now with a very happy Christmas. Our family is now complete and we couldn't be happier.

With the birth of Isabela we decided that I would stay home. Leaving a job with a great firm was hard but I am really enjoying being a mom and feel that it is making me a much better wife as well. I feel so complete doing the housewife thing. I guess im an odd breed of 21st century woman who actually enjoys cooking and cleaning! Its been a whole new challenge but I'm having a blast and really treasuring the time I get to spend with my lovelies.

Jeremiah is teaching in addition to his regular 9-5 job which has been a huge blessing! He really seems to enjoy it.

So here is to a new year and new opportunities to grow and learn! Here are a few photos from some special family moments :)

First moments with Mommy :)Our gorgeous baby girl, Isabela Dona, born September 25, 2009 weighing 9lbs, 9oz and 20 inches long!

This was such a fun Christmas because Lenny could really get into it this year :) He had a blast!

**Happy to report that Lenny is starting the new year binky free!**
