TWO MONTHS OLD!!!

Time flies when you're having fun. Leonard is now a little over two months old and its amazing how much he has grown! He had his first big round of shots and his well checkup on Wednesday and the Dr. confirmed what we all already know, he is a BIG BOY! Here are the current stats:

25 inches, 14 lbs 10oz
Healthy as can be :)

The Dr. said he is basically the average size of a 4 month old! After I picked my jaw up off the floor, I asked if he was maybe TOO big and the Dr. said not to worry, his weight is perfect for his height, he is just REALLY tall. Its so amazing to watch him grow everyday and learn new things. He is smiling and becoming so aware of everything around him. He especially loves being outside and going for walks through Riverside.

Here are some photos of our growing boy!

Almost two months old!

Leonard will officially be two months old in a little over a week and its amazing how quickly the time has gone by. He is growing up so fast (I think ive said that 100 times).

He is getting really expressive and I caught a pic of him smiling with my cell phone the other day and while the quality isnt great, im so glad I captured it on some sort of film. Photo is below

Monday was my first day back at work and while I miss him like crazy during the day, im doing better than I thought I would. He is with my mom and that makes me feel so much better about being away from him all day. Makes the evenings even more special (even though he can be pretty fussy in the evenings). We are learning how to make it work and while I wouldn't choose to work full-time, its what I have to do right now so I know that God is giving me the grace to do it. I am just praying that maybe I can work part time at some point to have a little more time with him.

So here are more great photos of the butterbean and some funny ones of Alexa. She is getting too grown up for me!!!! It makes me sad she isnt a little girl anymore...but she makes a great big sister. Its a big adjustment but she is doing great. One of our neighbors brought over the little car and while Leonard has a while before he can use it, Alexa figured it looked like tons of fun! Such a goofball!
