We recently turned our little spare room into the craft room/office and I love it so much more than I even thought I would. It's all the way in the back of our house in what used to be a sleeping porch so there are lots of windows (most of which make no sense) and it's so nice and tranquil.
This is going to be huge blessing for me and the hubs who have been doing our work in the dining room and I've been using our room AND the dining room.
I am NOT changing the color of this room for the forseeable future, haha! Not my first choice for a color, but it is so annoying painting those slats...
Where all my happy sunlight comes in :)
The hubs desk. Wish the back of his desk were prettier...working on that...
Sewing nook
Haven't felt like climbing to get the scarf valance down...but I think I'll keep the chandelier...kinda fun
Honestly my favorite part. A cutting table!
Still working everything out but I thought I'd show where I'm hanging out while the kids are napping :)
Hope everyone is having a great day!

Christy,
Sleeping porches, way back in the day, were used on hot nights when the interior of the home was too hot and stuffy. This sleeping porch was later enclosed (hence the odd window placements) to make a bedroom adjoining another bedroom. Depending on how long we stay in the house, we'll make significant improvements to the room, including adding a hallway in the adjoining room for private access. Cheers.
Yah for a happy place!! Looks great!
